AKA NYC | Summer Internship

As part of my summer internship with AKA NYC, I collaborated with a team of fellow interns to create a fake pitch deck for a hypothetical Broadway transfer of The Hunger Games. While not affiliated with the actual London production, we loosely drew inspiration from its current staging.

Our assignment was to build a complete, imaginative marketing campaign that covered every stage of production—from early conception and transfer plans to opening night and the Tony Awards. Working with set parameters, including a transfer to the approx 1,200-seat Broadhurst Theatre (reimagined in the round), a pre-determined cast, and a set timeline, we gathered data, designed strategies, and developed promotional ideas.

The project culminated in a formal presentation to a panel of “producers,” allowing us to pitch our campaign as though it were a real production.
